oh my goodness. TANK didn't get nominated for GMAs 06! this is freaking stupid ok, esp the judges, so totally disappointed lah. now im convinced- JAY didn't get any nomination for best album as well?! WELL!

SOURCE: JAYCN.

The 17th golden melodies award nomination list was revealed today. Even though Jay Chou did not get the award for "November Chopin," Nan Quan Mama, the group that he has helped create, was nominated for best singing group award. Furthermore, the song "Fish that Loves to Dream" that he wrote for Judy Chiang was also nominated as the yearly best song and Taiwanese album. This has made him happier than having himself nominated.

After Jay found out about the nomination list, he expressed that he was really happy. He once said that he hopes to exchange his award for Nan Quan Mama to be nominated in anything. Now his wish has come true and he feels really happy. Pres Chou said that he is extremely happy that Judy Chiang's "Fish that Loves to Dream" was recognized because songs he has written for other people have never been nominated before.

Pres Chou said: "This made me happier than getting an award for myself. I have already reached the goal of being recognized through my record sales. I am very happy that Judy and NQMM were nominated this time for the golden melodies award." NQMM members were in the studio remixing music for the album they are about to release until today in the afternoon. They were half asleep, but after hearing that they were nominated, they almost all woke up immediately! They said, last year, Jay once said that he was willing to exchange an award for himself for the nomination of NQMM. They didn't expect his dreams to come true! They really thank him. NQMM are also happy that they helped Pres Chou become nominated in a category that he never thought he could be nominated in.

Vincent Fang was nominated for best lyricist for the song "Hair Like Snow" in the album "November Chopin" could only thank the judges. But he is not happy because the album, "November Chopin," that made the most contribution in Chinese music last year was not recognized by the judges. He said: "I can only say that it's regretful, but I need to honor the judges' decision."
